The basic goal of all development projects is improving the quality of the life of people.Communicable disease control has been a major challenge to human endeavour. Immunization plays an important role in health care interventions. One effective way of controlling the spread of infection is to strengthen the host defenses.
This may be accomplished by active immunization, which is one of the most powerful and cost effective weapons of modern medicine.
Action plan
Our area of focus covers health care of children and expectant mothers through a comprehensive health care system to monitor and maintain: -
· 100% immunization to village children.
· Collaborate with Primary health centres for vaccination on due dates.
· Door to door motivation of parents to maintain the due dates of immunization.
· Monitoring expectant mothers from the fifth month of pregnancy till the first month after delivery through anganwadi workers.
· Promoting institutional deliveries through constant motivation, to reduce infant mortality.
· Providing quality health care tracking neonates all through the infancy by our Foundation health workers.
· Free medical services every day to village Community through a health clinic located on the school campus.
· Reporting and referral services to hospitals for expert advice and treatment.
