INITIATION OF TETRA-DIABETES CARE PROGRAM IN NAGIREEDYGUDA VILLAGE .

In view of expanding our healthcare program and help more villagers benefit by this TETRA-Diabetes Care program in getting diagnosed for hypertension & Diabetes , the KMRF  will be initiating this program in Nagireddyguda village-a neighbor village of Aziznagar.

Being the first step of this program the KMRF-Team will be engaged in data update of the entire village for the latest information  on the number of adults that are eligible  for this program and to record the health issues of villagers in addition to recording information of  already affected people with BP/Diabetes and taking medicine.

This activity has begun from the 30^th June, 2021.

Since January, 2021 specially appointed CHO (COMMUNITY HEALTH OFFICER) attends the Aziznagar villagers on a daily basis with checking of their BP/ Random Blood sugar. Thus diagnosed and affected persons are supplied with suitable medicine. Every patient gets medicines/ prescribed tablets for a month at free of cost.

KMRF- as per the routine schedule visits the affected villagers for motivating the to go to the village health centre and get their BP/Sugar checked and  take the medicines supplied by the health centre.

KMRF- COVID-19- VACCINATION DRIVE –FACILITATING THE SREENIGHI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL --NON-TEACHING STAFF .

The KMRF in view of the initiative taken for the Covid-19- vaccination drive has facilitated the   Non-teaching staff of Sreenidhi  International  School  in getting  vaccinated for the 1^st dose of   Covid -19 vaccine.

 The program started in the last week of April collaborating with the health centre Moinabad  and happened in  phases to get the staff of different departments   get vaccinated with the    first dose of vaccine-  like ADMIN, SECURITY, TRANSPORT, HOUSE-KEEPING AND HOSPITALITY DEPTS.

 A total number of -156  staff  members got vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine.

This activity was engaged by the healthcare team taking the staff in batches to the vaccination centre. Thus it happened for a week (20/06/21 to 26/06/2021).

In the month of January, 2021 we came to know that an ANM was appointed in Aziznagar health centre to attend the cases for HYPERTENSION/ DIABETES/ THYROID/ CANCER etc.  KMRF was happy to collaborate with the ANM and motivate the TETRA- project-affected cases to visit the health centre for check up and receiving the medicines.

Quarterly visit was done in TETRA- initiated villages—KASIMBOWLI, MUTHUZAGUDA.   DATA update was carried out in AZIZNAGAR, BANGALIGUDA.  Refused cases of TETRA—activated for testing & treatment @ the health centre as per the program.

AFTERNOON VISITS TO AZIZNAGAR-HEALTH CENTRE –for recording information of KMRF-motivated cases of TETRA-project.                                                                                                                                                      

KMRF-initial goal was data update of 36-villages of Moinabad  Mandal and work for 100% immunization. In order to update the village data team too visits to villages on the active immunization days for recording information on the status, default cases were motivated.

COVID- WORK FROM HOME: 21/04/21 TO 28/04/21 & 11/05/21 TO 30/05/2021.

COVID-VACCINATION DRIVE: MOTIVATION OF people of age 60 & 40+ WITH CO-MORBIDITIES FROM APRIL, 21. FOR people of age 40+ FROM JUNE, 21 FORCOVID- VACCINATION . 

KMRF-facilitated the Sreenidhi staff members around 170 staff for Covid - vaccination in allotted Covid centres in Madhapur, Moinabad PHC etc.  

SOME GOOD NEWS: NEW DEVELOPMENT IN THE HEALTHCARE FRONT -   DIABETES CARE PROGRAM:

 APPOINTMENT OF C.H.O. (COMMUNITY HEALTH OFFICER) IN AZIZNAGAR AND ISSUE OF MEDICINE TO BP/DIABETES/ HAVING BOTH -CASES

 This is all about the good news regarding the supply of medicine by the health centre Aziznagar to BP / DIABETES patients.

 We came to know in the first week of January, 2021 that a C.H.O. (COOMUNITY HEALTH OFFICER) has been appointed in Aziznagar health centre (likewise in all Mandals one each) mainly to take care and attend to the cases of  Hypertension / Diabetes / Cancer / Cases for Physiotherapy at the OPD in addition to other cases in general.

 The KMRF-TEAM interacted with her to understand the motives of this program and the schedule of plan that how they are going to execute.
